Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. iDream Reno is fully licensed, carries comprehensive liability insurance, and maintains WSIB coverage for our crew. We are happy to provide current documentation before your project begins.

Do you handle both design and construction?

We do. iDream Reno is a design-and-build company, which means one team takes you from the first sketch through to the final coat of paint. You are welcome to bring your own designer or architect, and we will work alongside them.

What size of projects do you take on?

Everything from a single bathroom to a full-home renovation, a home addition, or a commercial fit-out. If a project is genuinely outside what we do well, we will tell you and point you in a better direction.

How much will my renovation cost?

Cost depends on scope, finishes, and the condition of the existing space, so there is no honest single answer. After an on-site consultation we can give you a realistic range, and once the design is set we provide a detailed fixed-price quote.

Do you charge for a quote?

The initial consultation and quote are free and carry no obligation. We would rather you make a confident decision than feel pressured into one.

What does a fixed-price quote include?

Our quotes are detailed and line-by-line, with clear allowances for selections such as tile, fixtures, and countertops. You will know what is included, what each choice costs, and what falls outside the scope before any work starts.

How do payments and deposits work?

We take a deposit to secure your spot in the schedule and order materials, followed by progress payments tied to completed milestones — never large sums paid ahead of the work. The full payment schedule is part of your contract.

How long will my project take?

It depends on scope: most bathrooms run three to five weeks, kitchens four to seven, basements five to eight, and full-home renovations three to six months. You will receive a week-by-week schedule before we begin.

Will I have one point of contact?

Yes. Every project is run by a dedicated project manager who is your single point of contact from start to finish — the person who answers your questions and keeps every trade moving.

How do you handle changes once work has started?

Any change to the scope is documented as a written change order with its own price, and it is approved by you before the work happens. There are no quiet add-ons and no surprise line items at the end.

Will my renovation need a permit?

Structural changes, layout changes, and significant plumbing or electrical work generally require a permit, while simple like-for-like updates often do not. We will tell you exactly what your project needs during the quoting stage.

Who handles the permit process?

We do. iDream Reno prepares the permit drawings, submits the applications, and coordinates the required inspections as part of your project. You do not need to deal with the municipality yourself.

What warranty do you offer?

Our workmanship is backed by a written two-year labour warranty, and the materials and products we install carry their full manufacturer warranties. You receive all of this documentation at handover.

What happens if an issue comes up after the project?

You call us, and we make it right. Most of our work comes from referrals and repeat clients, so standing behind a finished project is simply how we operate — the relationship does not end at the final walkthrough.
