Our Story

It started with one frustrated carpenter.

iDream Reno began in 2009 in a North York garage, with one truck, a set of tools, and a simple frustration. Our founder, Samuel Levy, had spent fifteen years as a carpenter on other companies' job sites — long enough to see exactly how renovations go wrong. Rushed schedules. Subcontractors who blamed each other. Homeowners left to manage a project they were never equipped to manage. He believed it could be done better, and set out to prove it.

What started as one tradesperson taking on kitchens has grown into a full design-and-build team — carpenters, tilesetters, project managers, and finishers who work under one roof and one standard. We deliberately kept the trades in-house. It is harder to run a company this way, but it is the only way to truly stand behind the work, because every part of it is ours.

Today iDream Reno has completed over two hundred renovations across Woodbridge, Vaughan, and the Greater Toronto Area. We are still family-run, still rooted in the community we started in, and still measured by the same thing: whether a client would have us back and send us to their neighbour. Most do. That is the whole business.
